Still Being Punished by Rachael Selby
$12.00
Rachael Selby brings together accounts from Māori men and women who were punished at school for speaking their own language. Their recollections explore the lasting effects of that experience on language, identity and family life, and the painful expectations placed on older generations who no longer speak te reo Māori. A concise contribution to New Zealand educational history and oral testimony.

A: Each book is individually priced based on its current market value, condition, and availability. Most of our books are collectable, vintage, many are hard to find in the 'wild'. We use actual 'sold' prices as a benchmark (Trademe, Ebay & Dunbar Slone) We try to price below market average to encourage people to start to resell books as a side hustle!
