A scarce Victorian work on spiritualism and psychical research by chemist and scientist William Crookes. The book includes Crookes’ investigations into spiritualist phenomena and psychic force during the early 1870s.
Format: Hardcover, decorative cloth binding with gilt title to front board.
Condition: Antique used condition. Boards show rubbing, edge wear, bumped and frayed corners, and wear to spine ends. Page edges and endpapers show age toning and foxing. Binding remains present but should be handled carefully due to age. Please view photos as part of the condition description.
