Lloyd Jones journeys to post-communist Albania in search of Petar Shapallo — a dentist surgically altered to serve as dictator Enver Hoxha's double. Equal parts travelogue, political reportage and mystery, Biografi established Lloyd Jones as one of New Zealand's most important literary voices. Jones went on to win the 2007 Commonwealth Writers Prize for Mister Pip and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize.
