Originally issued shortly after his death, the book gathers teachings remembered and recorded by his disciples, with an emphasis on devotion, meditation, self-discipline and direct spiritual realization.
This copy is the second printing of the 1952 first edition, published by the Self-Realization Fellowship in 1953. It retains the scarce original illustrated dust jacket.

Condition: Acceptable to good vintage condition. The original dust jacket is heavily worn, with substantial rubbing, edge wear, chips, creasing, short tears and losses, particularly around the spine ends and corners. There is an old label or tape remnant near the lower spine area. The binding remains intact and the internal pages shown appear clean, with light age toning and minor signs of handling. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.
