Walker, the Witch, and the Striped Flying Saucer by James Stevenson

A wonderfully eccentric vintage picture book written and illustrated by James Stevenson. Walker tells of an extraordinary night in which he finds a flying saucer, meets a witch and even learns to fly.

This is the André Deutsch first UK edition, published in 1971, in hardcover with its original illustrated dust jacket. James Stevenson’s loose, witty black-and-white illustrations give the book its distinctive charm.
