A scarce early New Zealand community cookbook issued under the auspices of the North-East Valley Presbyterian Church, Dunedin. This is the fourth edition, published in 1930 by Empire Press Ltd., Dowling Street, Dunedin. Dainty Recipes is an interesting piece of New Zealand food history: the series began in 1926, and this 1930 edition has been cited in research on the development of distinctive New Zealand recipes and domestic cookery.
