About this book
Archy, a cockroach with the soul of a poet, chronicles the adventures and opinions of his irrepressible alley-cat friend Mehitabel. Don Marquis's comic verse combines animal characters with sharp observations on human vanity, hardship and the absurdities of everyday life.
