About this book
Heather Formaini examines masculinity through a feminist and psychoanalytic lens, questioning how family life and social expectations shape men's emotional lives. Drawing on interviews, she considers love, friendship, work, marriage, sexuality and fatherhood. A provocative contribution to late twentieth-century debates about gender roles, intimacy and the possibility of change.
